Birthdate: 10/10/82

Chris grew up in Wasilla, Alaska, and aquired his first acoustic guitar at age 16. Advancing rapidly on the instrument he began to write and record original music, inspired primarily by his favorite progressive rock bands. In 2003 he released the self-produced, all-instrumental album Photon Life, an homage to artists like Joe Satriani, Jeff Beck, and Steve Vai.

In 2005 Chris formed the band Red Penguin. Originally intended to cover Chris' instrumental music, the band went on to produce an original EP and several singles. The band achieved some notoriety in Alaska, but in '08 Chris relocated to Portland, Oregon.

Chris currently plays lead guitar for the Portland-based group Noir City, and has continued to write and produce his own original music. His new singles, including Helicopter Ben and See Us Dance, are available on iTunes and other digital distribution services.
